About the team
As part of the Global Demand Planning Team, you will be responsible for driving the seasonal demand forecast process and demand plan generation across Partners’ markets, global e-com, and Key Wholesale accounts as well as supporting the implementation and enhancement of new planning tools and reports.
The role sits within the Global Planning & Merchandising department and reports to the Head of Global Demand Planning. Together we work towards the vision of building a global center of excellence for demand planning and driving a fully integrated planning process with close collaboration across global/local markets teams.
Responsibilities
- Create pre-seasonal Headgroup forecasts at the product category level for Global E-com channel, Wholesale Key accounts and Partner markets gathering intelligence from multiple inputs such as financial plans, market plans and sales plans; enter and maintain a rolling forecast onto the demand planning tool
- Check-in on updates to customer demands, engage with key partners, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, and evaluate forecast results
- Continuously improve forecasting accuracy by analyzing the demands vs actual sales & proposing corrective actions for both products forecast and process optimization
- Create compelling analyses, forecasts and narratives, supporting goal setting and measurements to monitor performance
Your skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of forecasting/demand planning experience preferably in the Retail fashion industry across different channels of distribution
- Knowledge and familiarity with demand planning/forecasting tools, methods, and processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical skills, ability to generate and use quantitative, as well as qualitative data for analysis and decision-making purposes
- Strong computer skills including Excel, and familiarity with BI and reporting tools
- High level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team-driven environment
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload, adapt to change, and maintain composure under pressure
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Bonus points
- Experience with implementation of forecasting/demand planning tools
