About the team

As part of the Global Finance Department in Stockholm, you work cross function and define and implement, in liaison with other process owners, end-to end global business processes in the GANT group. Another key responsibility is to support the GANT organisation during audits conducted by the internal audit team of Maus Frères, the owners of GANT. There are two Process & internal control expert positions at GANT, of which one position is now vacant. The position is imperative GANT’s relentless effort of conducting business in a more efficient and correct way.

Responsibilities

• Identify risks. Define, document, and implement mitigating controls and processes, together with process owners.
• Drive efficiency and effectiveness through best practices and globally aligned ways of working.
• Increase process- and risk awareness in the GANT Group
• Drive compliance through training, coaching and control, ensure implementation of processes and controls.
• Develop GANT’s Internal Control framework (Risk Matrix), risk policies & guidelines.
• The go-to person in the GANT organisation for matters regarding risks, internal controls, and internal audit.
• Liaison with Maus Frères Internal Audit department. Coordinate internal audits. Prepare the GANT organisation for the audits and support the organisation during the audits.

Your skills

• 3+ years of experience from a similar position / 2+ years of experience from a reputable audit firm.
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-starter with a positive attitude to assignments.
• Extremely organised, detail oriented, responsible and have ability to work independently.
• Hands-on attitude. Highly structured, but also possesses flexibility and a can-do attitude to find ways forward. Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. Motivated by educating the organisation on the importance of internal control. Possesses a genuine interest in the business.
• Being able to build trust and relationships, both within the GANT organisation and with the Maus Frères Internal Audit department
• Fluent in English both written and orally

Bonus points

• Strong accounting skills
• Experience from the retail/fashion industry
• Experience from SAP
• Knowledge of German and/or French and/or Spanish
